Christie brings an extensive background to our practice; she has 17 years' experience as a special educator and advanced degrees in sociology, education leadership and special education. As our office manager and Dr. Barker's spouse and business partner, she wears many hats… always with a smile! Christie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, hiking, camping and learning new things.

Ana began her career in dentistry after earning a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Following her training and experience as a dental assistant, she pursued further education to become a registered dental hygienist. In her personal time, Ana enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Titan and Nova.

Jessica, Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Duties

Jessica has been a dedicated member of the dental profession since 2006. In her spare time, she loves spending family time with her husband and two wonderful daughters.

She enjoys vacationing at the beach and in the mountains, as well as seeking thrills through activities like sky diving, riding roller coasters and bungee jumping.

Maison, Registered Dental Hygienist

Maison began her career in the dental profession in 2021. She loves spending time with her husband, Connor, their daughter, and their two dogs. An active member of her church, Maison also enjoys reading, watching a good Netflix crime series and eating Mexican food.

Ashley, Insurance Coordinator & Front Desk Receptionist

Ashley is a vital part of our front office team, serving as both Insurance Coordinator and Front Desk Receptionist. With her background as a Certified Dental Assistant, she brings both clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills to ensure our patients feel supported and informed every step of the way.

What Ashley loves most about dentistry is the opportunity to make a difference in patients' oral health and overall well-being. She finds it especially rewarding to help Spanish-speaking patients feel truly understood and cared for, building trust and confidence in their dental journey.

At Magnolia Dental Spa, Ashley enjoys being part of a close-knit, supportive team where everyone is willing to help each other out. She also loves the family-oriented atmosphere - and, of course, the extra joy that comes from having our office mascot, Dunkin, around to greet patients.

Outside of work, Ashley is continuing her education to become a Dental Hygienist. Passionate about all things dentistry, she's fascinated by the field and excited to keep growing within it. When she’s not immersed in learning or patient care, Ashley enjoys spending time with animals—especially her beloved cats.

Jake, Dental Assistant

Jake brings a unique background in entomology to his role as a Dental Assistant, where his attention to detail and appreciation for the technical side of dentistry shine through. He loves the precision involved in dental care and finds it rewarding to use that knowledge to help improve patients' overall quality of life.

At Magnolia Dental Spa, Jake enjoys the personal, family-oriented atmosphere that makes both patients and team members feel at home. He values being part of a practice where relationships and care come first.

Outside the office, Jake is pursuing his dream of becoming a dentist and is currently applying to dental school.

Kassidy, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kassidy is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles while supporting their overall health. As a Dental Hygienist, she values the opportunity to build lasting relationships, provide education, and create a comfortable experience—especially for patients who may feel nervous about visiting the dentist.

At Magnolia Dental Spa, Kassidy enjoys being part of a practice where patients feel cared for and at ease from the moment they walk through the door. She takes pride in contributing to an atmosphere that feels welcoming and supportive.

Outside the office, Kassidy enjoys spending time with family and friends, spoiling her dog with fun adventures, and relaxing with a good book. She also loves visiting local coffee shops whenever she can.

Sydney, Social Media Manager & Front Desk Receptionist

Sydney brings creativity and a strong background in health promotion to our team, serving as both Social Media Manager and Front Desk Receptionist. With her degree in Health Promotion and Behavior, she has enjoyed learning how oral health plays a vital role in overall wellness - and she loves sharing fun tooth facts along the way.

What Sydney enjoys most about Magnolia Dental Spa is the empowering environment created for patients. She believes in making sure every patient feels like an active participant in their care, and she takes pride in helping create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment they walk in.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time with family and friends, caring for her collection of plants, and trying to coax her 8-year-old dog into joining her for walks.
